Getting access to the system


Introduction

There are two ways to get access to StoreXConnect, you can do this by going to the StoreXConnect website or from within Xero once you have created a connection between StoreXConnect and Xero by using the App Launcher.

Note that StoreXConnect will only appear in your App Launcher once you have created a connection.

Connecting for the first time

To get started in StoreXConnect ...

  1. 1. browse to the StoreXConnect website at www.storexconnect.com
  2. 2. you will be taken to the landing page. From this page you can click on the Sign up using Xero button.
  3. 3. you will be redirected to the Xero login page
  4. 4. log into Xero as you would normally do
  5. You can set up your connection and settings without setting up a payment. You must have an active payment (or trial license) to allow for synchronization of data.
  6. 5. you will be redirected to a page asking you to confirm which of the Xero organizations linked to your account you would like to give access to StoreXConnect. You will also be reminded of the different access that StoreXConnect requires to your Xero account.
  7. Note that Xero organizations already connected to StoreXConnected will not be shown in the organization drop down. To remove an existing connection, refer to the Xero Organization Management section
  8. 6. Once you have completed the login process, you will be redirected to the StoreXConnect dashboard.

Logging into StoreXConnect

Once you have created a connection to StoreXConnect, you can sign into your account by returning to the StoreXConnect website at www.storexconnect.com.

You are also able to access StoreXConnected by clocking on the nine dots in the top right corner of the Xero screen (after you have logged in) and selecting sxc as one of your connected apps
